| Overview |
For 2012, the Suzuki SX4 adds standard electronic stability control.
The SX4 is available as a sedan or hatchback and uses a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine. Depending on the model, transmission choices are a six-speed manual or continuously variable transmission (CVT). The sedan comes in SE, JA and Sport trim line and is front-wheel drive only. The hatchback comes in JA, JX and JLX trim, in front- or all-wheel drive.
Features on the SE sedan include 15-inch steel wheels, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, tilt steering wheel, cloth seats, 60/40 split-folding rear seat, body-colour bumpers, mirrors and door handles, front map lights and remote trunk release.
The JA sedan adds air conditioning, power windows with driver’s express-down, keyless entry, CD/MP3 stereo with auxiliary input jack and four speakers, pre-wiring for satellite radio, height-adjustable driver’s seat, trunk light, floor mats, power mirrors, variable intermittent wipers, rear seat side airbags and engine block heater.
The Sport sedan adds 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic climate control, pushbutton start, nine speakers with subwoofer, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, cruise control, heated seats, aero body kit, rear spoiler, heated mirrors and fog lamps.
Features on the JA Hatchback include 15-inch steel wheels, air conditioning, power windows with driver’s express-down, keyless entry, CD/MP3 stereo with four speakers and auxiliary input, pre-wiring for satellite radio, driver information display, tilt steering wheel, height-adjustable driver’s seat, 60/40 split-folding rear seats, floor mats, cargo cover, electric rear hatch release, power mirrors, variable intermittent wiper, fixed intermittent rear wiper, rear seat side airbags and engine block heater.
The JX Hatchback adds 16-inch alloy wheels, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, cruise control, two-position rear cargo light, wheel arch extensions, side skirts, heated mirrors, and black roof rails. In front-wheel drive, it comes only with the CVT; in all-wheel drive, it comes with a manual transmission or CVT.
The JLX AWD comes only with a CVT and adds automatic climate control, steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters, heated seats, black and silver roof rails, and electronic stability control.
