For 2011, the Saab 9-3 returns to the Canadian marketplace as an independent company. Available models are the 9-3 sport sedan, convertible and SportCombi (wagon).
The 9-3 uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The front-wheel drive 2.0T models use a six-speed manual transmission or optional five-speed automatic, while Aero models use a five-speed automatic with optional six-speed manual transmission. All-wheel drive models use a six-speed automatic or optional six-speed manual transmission.
The sedan is available in front- or all-wheel drive, while the convertible and SportCombi are front-wheel drive only.
Features on the 2.0T sedan include 16-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, rear fog lamp, leather seats, eight-way power driver’s seat, 60/40 split-folding rear seat with locking pass-through, rain-sensing wipers, cruise control, woodgrain trim, leather-trimmed sport steering wheel with audio controls, floor mats, illuminated vanity mirrors, illuminated and cooled glove box, CD/MP3 stereo with auxiliary input, express-down windows, heated mirrors, and keyless entry.
The 2.0T all-wheel drive adds 17-inch alloy wheels.
The Aero sedan adds 17-inch alloy wheels, sport-tuned chassis, xenon headlamps with washers, front fog lamps, two-tone heated leather seats, eight-way power passenger seat, metallic interior trim, power sunroof, auto up/down windows, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, garage door opener, Bose surround sound, six-CD/MP3 stereo, XM satellite radio, OnStar and Bluetooth connectivity.
The Aero all-wheel sedan builds on the 2.0T all-wheel drive and adds heated leather sport seats, eight-way power passenger seat, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, garage door opener, carbon fibre appearance trim, Bose surround sound, six-CD/MP3 stereo, XM satellite radio, OnStar and Bluetooth connectivity.
Features on the 2.0T Convertible include 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, rear fog lamp, leather seats, eight-way power driver’s seat, woodgrain trim, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, floor mats, express-down front windows, heated mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, keyless entry, cruise control, illuminated vanity mirrors, illuminated and cooled glove box, CD/MP3 stereo with seven speakers, auxiliary input, tire pressure monitoring system, active front head restraints, and power-operated soft top.
The Aero Convertible adds xenon headlamps with washers, front fog lamps, dual bright-finish exhaust pipes, rear spoiler, two-tone upholstery, metallic interior trim, premium six-CD/MP3 stereo with ten speakers, XM satellite radio, Bluetooth connectivity, heated seats and auto-dimming rear-view mirror.
