For 2010, the Lincoln MKZ receives a facelift. Exterior changes include new fenders, fascia, deck lid, hood, and taillights; projector beam headlamps; acoustic laminated windshield; new wheels; and the new signature Lincoln "split-wing" grille. Inside, there's a new instrument panel, steering wheel wood accents, cabin air filter, ambient lighting, armrest storage, door trim with 360-degree handles, and luxury Bridge of Weir leather-trimmed upholstery. Also new are rain-sensing wipers, Easy Fuel capless filler, adaptive xenon headlamps on the all-wheel drive model, SOS post-crash alert, and new packages and options.
The MKZ uses a 3.5-litre V6, mated to a six-speed automatic with six-speed automatic transmission. It comes in a single trim line and can be optioned with an all-wheel drive system.
Features include 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, automatic headlamps, Easy Fuel capless filler, fog lamps, LED taillamps, chrome-capped heated mirrors with auto-dimming driver's side and puddle lamps, rain-sensing wipers, reverse sensing system, auto-dimming rearview mirror with compass, auto up/down front windows, cruise control, garage door opener, tilt and telescopic leather-wrapped wheel with genuine wood accents and audio controls, ambient lighting, pushbutton start, 10-way heated and cooled seats in Bridge of Weir leather-trimmed upholstery, 60/40 split-folding rear seat, six-CD/MP3 stereo with auxiliary input, SYNC, and satellite radio, tire pressure monitoring system, SOS post-crash alert system, and SecuriCode keyless entry keypad. The all-wheel drive model adds adaptive xenon headlamps.
Available options include a Sport Appearance Package of 18-inch alloy wheels, aluminum interior trim, darkened headlamps, two-tone seats, sport-tuned suspension, unique floor mats and unique grille; a Vision Package of blind spot information system (BLIS) with cross-traffic alert, rearview camera, and voice-activated navigation system; and stand-alone options including adaptive xenon headlamps (on front-wheel drive), power sunroof, remote starter, THX II audio system, block heater, and navigation system.
