| Overview |
For 2010, changes to the Lincoln MKX are mostly trim. There are new mirrors, and available 22-inch bright polished aluminum wheels. A new Midnight Limited Edition Package, exclusively in Tuxedo Black, adds body-colour grille, 22-inch wheels, sport-tuned suspension, Ebony interior package, premium floor mats with logo, and when adaptive headlamps are also included, unique Lincoln Star etched headlamp lenses. The new Sight and Sound Package adds next-generation voice-activated DVD navigation system, THX Audio six-CD stereo, adaptive headlamps and Panoramic Vista Roof. The Limited Edition Package now adds 20-inch chrome-clad wheels, Cashmere premium leather seats with black piping, ebony wood appliqués, premium floor mats with logo, chrome grille and, when adaptive headlamps are ordered, Lincoln Star etched headlamp lenses.
Based on the Ford Edge, the MKX uses a 3.5-litre V6 engine and six-speed automatic transmission. It is exclusively all-wheel drive and comes in a single trim line.
Standard features include 18-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, ambient lighting, EasyFold rear seatback release, genuine wood accents in Figured Maple or Ebony, leather-trimmed ten-way power heated and cooled front seats, driver's side memory, heated 60/40 split-folding reclining rear seats, SYNC, six-CD/MP3 stereo with auxiliary input, Sirius satellite radio, rear cargo management system, carpeted and rubber floor mats, illuminated vanity mirrors, auto-dimming rearview mirror with compass, message centre, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, garage door opener, fog lamps, heated mirrors with memory, puddle lamps and auto-dimming drivers side, power liftgate, automatic headlamps, reverse sensing system, perimeter anti-theft alarm, keyless entry, SecuriCode keypad, and tire pressure monitoring system.
