| Overview |
For 2012, the Dodge Journey undergoes trim changes. The roof rails come with adjustable crossbars, there is a new leather upholstery colour, and an available Rear Seat Video Group with nine-inch video screen and six speakers can be added to the Crew and R/T AWD models.
The Journey is available with a 2.4-litre four-cylinder with four-speed automatic, or 3.6-litre V6 with six-speed automatic. The 2.4-litre is used in the SE Canada Value Package and SE Plus, while the V6 is used in the SXT, Crew and R/T. All models are front-wheel drive except for the all-wheel R/T AWD. All have five seats but can be optioned to a third row for seven-passenger seating.
Features on the SE Canada Value Package include 16-inch steel wheels, dual-zone temperature control, keyless entry with proximity sensor, Uconnect Touch 4.3 media centre, USB and auxiliary input, tilt and telescopic steering wheel with audio controls, cruise control, body-colour door handles, heated mirrors, cloth seats, power windows, and tire pressure monitoring display.
The SE Plus adds 17-inch alloy wheels, leather-wrapped steering wheel, body-colour mirrors, LED taillights, front and rear floor mats, cargo cover, deep-tint sunscreen glass and black roof rails with adjustable crossbars.
The SXT adds auto up/down front windows, fog lamps, dual bright exhaust tips, overhead console, automatic headlamps, security alarm, auto-dimming rearview mirror and conversation mirror.
The Crew adds 19-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, Uconnect Touch 4,3S stereo, Sirius satellite radio, heated seats, ten-way power driver’s seat, fold-flat front passenger seat, remote starter, front and rear interior LED lights, bright roof rails, and garage door opener.
The R/T AWD adds leather-faced seats, bright door handles, premium speakers with subwoofer, and performance suspension.
