| Overview |
Redesigned for 2011, the Dodge Grand Caravan undergoes trim changes for 2012. The Crew adds automatic temperature control, and two packages available on the R/T add extra items.
The Grand Caravan uses a 3.6-litre V6 with six-speed automatic transmission. Trim levels are the SE Canada Value Package, SXT Stow ‘n Go, Crew, Crew Plus and R/T. The model is also available as the Chrysler Town & Country.
Features on the SE Canada Value Package include 16-inch steel wheels, dual-zone temperature control, driver’s knee airbag, four-wheel disc brakes, power windows, keyless entry, heated mirrors, second-row bench seat with in-floor storage tubs, third-row Stow ‘n Go seating, tilt and telescopic steering wheel with audio controls, cruise control, black door handles, CD/MP3 stereo with four speakers, and tinted glass.
The SXT Stow ‘n Go adds second-row Stow ‘n Go bucket seats with one-hand operation, third-row Stow ‘n Go seats with tailgate seating ability, leather-wrapped steering wheel, black side roof rails with integrated crossbars, easy-clean floor mats, floor console with cupholders, and body-colour door handles and side mouldings.
The Crew adds 17-inch alloy wheels, tri-zone automatic climate control, fog lamps, electronic vehicle information centre, eight-way power driver’s seat, power-adjustable pedals, Super Console with illuminated cupholders, bright roof rack, bright exterior mouldings, body-colour mirrors and six speakers.
The Crew Plus adds heated power-adjustable leather-faced seats, power sliding doors, power liftgate, backup camera, CD/DVD/MP3/HDD media centre, Sirius satellite radio, premium overhead console, overhead ambient surround lighting, auxiliary input jack and garage door opener.
The R/T adds 17-inch satin carbon alloy wheels, all-black interior, leather-faced seats with red stitching, heated second-row seats, heated steering wheel, Uconnect voice command with Bluetooth connectivity, Bluetooth streaming audio, remote USB port, second- and third-row window shades, nine speakers with subwoofer, and body-colour grille and side mouldings.
