| Overview |
For 2012, changes to the A5 and S5 are minimal. The A5 Coupe and Cabriolet can be ordered with an S-Line Sport Select package, which adds dampening suspension and driver-selectable Comfort, Auto and Dynamic settings. A new, lower-priced navigation system is also available along with the upper-line, higher-priced navigation option.
In Coupe configuration, the model comes as the A5 2.0 Quattro Coupe, with 2.0-litre turbocharged direct-injected four-cylinder engine, using a six-speed manual or eight speed automatic; and as the S5, with 4.2-litre V8, and six-speed manual or six-speed automatic. The Cabriolet comes as the A5 2.0 Quattro, with the 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder and only the eight-speed automatic; and as the S5 3.0 Quattro, with supercharged 3.0-litre V6 and seven-speed automatic transmission.
The Cabriolet models use a power-operated soft top that opens in 15 seconds and closes in 17 seconds. It can be opened or closed at speeds of up to 50 km/h.

The 2.0 Quattro Coupe Premium Plus adds garage door opener, Advanced Key with pushbutton start, Audi Side Assist, and trip computer with colour screen.
Features on the S5 Coupe include 18-inch alloy wheels, three-zone automatic climate control, rain-sensing wipers, bi-xenon headlamps with washers, LED taillights and daytime running lights, front fog lamps, ultrasonic interior monitoring system, rain-sensing wipers, heated washer nozzles, cruise control, Intelligent Key, heated mirrors, Bluetooth connectivity, sunroof, heated Silk Nappa leather seats with driver’s side memory, 60/40 split-folding rear seats, multi-function three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel, auto-dimming mirror with compass, ski bag, six-CD/MP3 stereo, Sirius satellite radio, iPod interface, and trip computer with colour screen.
The S5 Coupe Premium adds Advanced Key with pushbutton start, Audi Side Assist, rear parking sensors, garage door opener, and adaptive headlamps.
